ROCK OUT with the Blenheim Youth Centre! VOTE for US!

Without help from OTF the Blenheim Youth Centre wouldn’t have been able to start up our AMAZING new website. With this website it allows not only the youth that attend our facility to stay up to date with events and activities but also their parents as well as community members. It has our daily schedule of activities/events, a page to showcase out upcoming fund-raisers, how people can get involved by volunteering at the centre, of course our hours of operation and how to get in contact with us. Oh and of course pictures! Check us out at www.blenheimyouthcentre.ca! The funding has also allowed for us to hire a Recreation Coordinator. The main duties of the Rec Coordinator are to plan and implement all daily recreational activities that happen within the centre as well as outside. Once we have our new backyard built, which will include a half basketball court and a sand volleyball pit, the Rec Coordinator will have their hands full and have many exciting activities and events planned. We were also able to reconstruct our office area. We doubled it in size in order to house all of our staff as well as give us the adequate space to file, store and do our daily general administration duties. This is very helpful in keeping the BYC organized, running efficiently and saves us time and money! And last but not least, the funds from OTF help us in our daily operational costs.
